I have more photos from this afternoon of the kids painting on the back patio. I will post them tomorrow morning.
Today Henry told me about his new music teacher when he said worst thing today was when she told him to sit on his bottom because it embarrassed him. Theo then said, "I don't think she's new. I think she was just on vacation because the kids seemed to know her already." That boy is perceptive!

Today's Museum Trip
I can't wait to spend more time in Philadelphia with you. I think we will find much to do. There even seems to be a decent Chinatown, which according to Wikipedia, is "the heart of the Asian culture in the Delaware Valley metropolitan area." I have developed a renewed interest in Chinese food.
Anyway, we had a nice time. Of course it would have been nicer if you were there. The kids were great (esp. Henry)

Today's Outing
We went to Batsto Village in the Wharton State Forest. It was a wonderful place and we had a great time. The kids, especially the boys needed to get out and do something like this. It was a little chilly with a very cold wind at times, but the sun felt very warm on my face. We poked around in replicas of old buildings and saw old tools and we picked up sticks, pinecones and rocks.
Look what I wore! They are so comfortable that I would wear them everyday if they didn't make my feet look enormous. In the end vanity always wins!
Hello, my springtime friend!
As you can see, it's a very pretty place. The water was really that blue.
Henry had to stop occasionally and take some fieldnotes.
After tooling around Batsto Village we took a drive through part of the State Forest. We saw a real smoke watching tower. There was soemone actaully up there, but you can't see him.
And someone lost their red peppers on the side of the road in the middle of the forest.

Because I'm really a Chinese Communist at heart.
Today when I took the poster to the store to buy the frame, I accidentally dropped it (the poster, that is) on the ground of the parking lot. My immediate reaction was to quickly see if anyone witnessed my clumsiness, but then I relaxed with a sigh a relief, remembering that I was in New Jersey and it was 2006. In another place and time I surely would have been denounced for my foolishness.

You won't believe it. I organized the garage and your car is now parked in it.
Iris went to school today and when I went to pick her up, they made me sign a document stating that she has a birthmark on her chest, instead of it being a bruise or a bite.
The boys are sitting on the sofa reading their latest "Star Wars" finds from the library. And as I'm typing I hear Iris rummaging in the pantry for crackers.

Everyone felt much better today and it was near 80 degrees, so we spent the afternoon outdoors.
We went to the library for a story hour and a craft. It's nice to get out and keep everyone busy.

Hey when Jason went to COT he had a suite where a person DID come to clean every so often, if this is the case for Eric, tell him to be careful of leaning against the counter after they have been there! Some of Jason's clothes were ruined by the pure bleach they used. Not good for the uniform!

Hi there
Eric, check this out.
Both Henry and Iris have runny noses, plus Iris has diarrhea. Fun, fun, fun. I hope she's not sick in the morning because she's supposed to go to the CDC so I can help out in Theo's classroom tomorrow.
At dinner when I asked the boys to talk about the best and worst of school, Henry actually had nothing to report for a worst. His best was that he got to go out on the playground today.
Theo's worst was that Mrs. Kenney said Mrs. Gibson didn't pack Theo's backpack when she actually had. (?) I tried to get more info but he wouldn't give it up. His best was he got to go on the playground too.
I think both boys are anxious about you being gone. We played Trouble after dinner and Theo threw a mini fit when Henry won. And as I already told you, Henry is doing the "go to the bathroom every 15 mintues thing"
Helen, next door, got a new Dodge pickup. Burgandy with an extended cab. The boys played with their boys as well with Ethan and Jake.
I'm going to go look for your shot records now

First Entry
It took very little time to set this up. The boys are at school and Mijjy is asleep on the sofa. I'm going to leave in about an hour to pick up the boys and then I was going to let them all play outoors this afternoon.
I really miss you but I know it is much worse for you. I really am worrying about you too.
